Our projects illuminate the human experience and inspire positive change. Maitreyi moved to Canada and got a grant in 2022 to restart her film career here with the documentary film KARMA. She is now developing a few projects connected to the environment and first nations sovereignty where she has an intimate relationship with the subject and subjects involved
Karma was the first Documentary made in Canada with the Artist as Healer Grant. The film traces the inspiring journey of Karma who chose to become an Arkaya Yoga teacher after a boat accident in 2016 that left her paralysed waist down.
Maitreyi had suggested a series of stories tracing Healing Journeys and Karma was chosen to be the one shot.

Maitreyi' s early career spans working on many TV programs and big budget advertisements in India like Horlicks and Parrys coffee bite. She started her own advt production house which handled adverts for products like Medimix, Spinz and Sa Re Ga Ma music company. She also won advt club awards. Even in her early 20s she had decided not to use her energy in making adverts for products that will harm/ those that were not value aligned .
However when her spiritual guide told her she was manipulating the minds of many she decided to take a break and work on the communication lag between the consious and unconsious mind. Then she further refined her associations. She only wanted to work with brands and make profile videos of those she truly believed in.
